HOW MANY UNITS TOTAL ARE THERE?

The Pointe has 3 buildings with 16 units each for a total of 48 units.

WHERE IS EDEN, UTAH?

Eden is an unincorporated town in Weber County that sits in a high mountain valley and resort community called Ogden Valley. Neighboring towns in the valley include Liberty, and Huntsville.

WHAT IS OGDEN VALLEY?

Ogden Valley is a high mountain valley and resort community that’s 347 square miles with approximately 7,000 people. Surrounded on all four sides by mountain ranges with peaks as high as 9,750 ft, it’s a serene valley that’s a popular vacation and tourism destination with three ski resorts, two reservoirs and plentiful national forest land.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Eden is 53 miles (one hour drive) from the Salt Lake International Airport that goes past Snowbasin ski resort with a pass at 6,070 ft before dropping into Ogden Valley. From Ogden City, it’s a 25-minute drive up Ogden Canyon following the Ogden River. Coming from the north, there’s one other 6,560 ft pass into the valley that crosses the Wasatch Mountain range.

WHAT IS THE ELEVATION OF THIS DEVELOPMENT?

The Pointe condominiums sit at an elevation of 5,300 ft.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?

Eden is ideal for warm summers and snowy winters. The average high in July is 88 and the average low in January is 11. On average, there are 226 sunny days per year compared to the US average of 205 days. Winters will typically see 90 inches of snow per year.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN THE SUMMER?

Eden’s top attraction is the outdoor activities with limitless opportunities with a rental store right across the street from the Pointe for any of your rental needs. Top activities include:

Water Activities – Pineview Reservoir has three public boat launch ramps as well as a private yacht club. There are also multiple spots for beach parking to lounge and play in the water. Pineview is popular for wake/surf boats and jet skis with a boat launch ramp 8 minutes from The Pointe that also offers seasonal dry storage for boats. If you prefer a non-motorized reservoir for paddle boarding or kayaking, Causey Reservoir is a 25-minute drive. The Weber River is also great for tubing for the whole family.
Golf – The Pointe sits on the semi-private 18-hole championship layout Wolf Creek golf course. Established in 1963, the course offers beautiful scenery of the valley.
Fishing – Pineview is known for the Tiger Muskie as well as yellow perch, large and small-mouth bass. Causey will provide cutthroat, rainbow, tiger trout as well as kokanee salmon. For river and fly fishing, the Ogden and Weber rivers provide cutthroat and brown trout.
Hiking – Endless trails range in distance and difficulty from the 21-mile skyline trail with a 7,3600 elevation gain to the 3-mile Pineview trail along the west shoreline of Pineview.
Biking – Long open country roads and paved trails provide great road biking. In addition, there are numerous maintained mountain bike trails nearby. If you prefer lift serviced mountain biking, you can head to either Snowbasin or Powder Mountain
Horseback Riding – Multiple canyons provide great trails with rentals and tours available.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN THE WINTER?

Skiing and Snowboarding – The Pointe is 5 miles away from Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley, and 17 miles to Snowbasin. With 8,464 acres, Powder Mountain is the largest ski resort in the US by skiable acreage. It provides 154 trails, 9 lifts, 2 terrain parks and plenty of back-country skiing. Nordic Valley is a smaller resort that is great for families and beginners. Snowbasin hosted the 2002 winter Olympics for downhill, combined, and super-G and offers 104 runs and 11 lifts.
Snowshoeing – Snowbasin features 26 miles of trails that connect to 25 miles of forest service trails. Additionally, many trails can be found right in the Wolf Creek Resort area as well as the North Fork Park.
Ice Skating – The neighboring town of Huntsville turns their park into a skating rink each winter.
Ice Fishing – Both Pineview and Causey are great ice fishing spots. Expect to catch Perch and Crappie and Pineview and trout at Causey.
Sledding & Tubing – Pick one of the many rolling hills or head to Wasatch Parc for a lift serviced tubing run.
Cross-Country Skiing – Ogden Nordic offers 20 miles of groomed trails.
Snowmobiling – Plenty of snow and forest land provides plenty of opportunities including a 63-mile loop with well-groomed terrain.
Sleigh Rides – The golf course becomes a great path for horse-drawn sleigh rides during the winter.
‍Fat Tire Biking – Many of the same great trails for mountain biking also provide great fat tire biking.

DO I HAVE TO MAKE MY UNIT AVAILABLE FOR NIGHTLY RENTALS?

No.

DO YOU OFFER A GOLF MEMBERSHIP?

Memberships are provided by the Wolf Creek Resort. However, if you’re interested, we can help arrange a discounted membership for the first year.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THE HOA MANAGEMENT?

We’ve engaged Peak2Peak management who will be taking care of the maintenance and cleaning of all common spaces including landscaping and snow removal.
